Advanced Design and Construction Technology

The design of Lotte Center Hanoi emphasizes not only aesthetics but also sustainability and safety. The main contractor, Lotte E&C, applied numerous advanced construction techniques that were unprecedented in Vietnam at the time.

Structural Sustainability Solutions

To minimize structural size while ensuring durability, high-strength concrete was used. Additionally, low-heat concrete helps reduce CO2 emissions, making the building environmentally friendly. The structure is designed to withstand harsh conditions:

  • Earthquake resistance up to magnitude 7 (Richter scale).
  • Wind resistance up to 32 m/s.

Materials and Installation Techniques

Premium materials were prioritized, including electrostatically painted aluminum for the facade. The building uses double-glazed, tempered glass with Spider fittings, installed using the Unitized System, ensuring airtightness and faster construction. This double-layer glass also improves energy efficiency by reducing power consumption.
